Cell-like Spiking Neural P systems

As an alternative to classical SN P systems, in 2016 a new approach is proposed: combining P systems with rewriting rules (as presented in Oxford Handbook on Membrane Computing) with SN P systems, in this case replacing the traditional network structure (a graph) by the usual hierarchical structure (tree structure) present in cell-like P systems.
