Custom apps
======================

MeCoSim is a simulation environment that can be considered a meta-simulator, in the sense that it can be used for defining simulation apps, so called custom apps. Thus, custom apps:

* Can be defined by spreadsheet files with **.xls** extension (being generated by spreadsheet programs as Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice/OpenOffice Calc, etc.)
* Can be loaded in MeCoSim environment, by pressing button **New**.
* Once included in the environment, can run by pressing button **Run** or double-clicking.
* A custom app includes a hierarchy of tabs, and may include a number of input tables, simulation parameters, output tables and charts defined as results of the simulation. Simulation parameters can be used in the definition of the models in P-Lingua, as part of some plugins functionalities, etc.
